Thea Megan Trinidad Büdgen is an American professional wrestler and actress. She is currently signed with WWE, where she performs on the Raw brand under the ring name Zelina Vega.

Biography[]

Though she be but little, she is fierce.

Shakespeare may not have had Zelina Vega in mind when he penned that line, but the spitfire from Queens, N.Y. aptly fits that famous description.

Much like her idol, the legendary Rey Mysterio, Zelina has made a career out of upsetting those who underestimate her underdog stature. Whether guiding Superstars to success as a manager or making history of her own — including winning the first-ever Queen's Crown Tournament and the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship alongside Carmella — Vega is always more than happy to prove her doubters wrong.

Her success has extended beyond the ring, as well, with a role in the hit movie “Fighting with My Family,” and an appearance as a commentator in the Street Fighter 6 video game.

Now running with The LWO, Zelina is on a mission to continue to show the world it’s not the size of the Superstar in the fight that matters, but the size of the fight in the Superstar.

She has said that Dwayne Johnson inspired her to act in films.

Personal life[]

In 2018, Trinidad married Dutch professional wrestler Tom Büdgen, also known as Malakai Black (formerly known as Aleister Black in WWE). She resides in Tampa, Florida.

On the 10th anniversary of the September 11 attacks, Trinidad spoke about her father who died as a result of the terrorist attack in an out-of-character interview on TNA's No Surrender pay-per-view. She appeared at the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, and honoured her father as she read out his name just after 09:00 that morning, barely 10 minutes after United Airlines flight 175 crashed into the South Tower. She was accompanied by another woman, who lost her loved one, Phillip Miller that day.
